marvelous and ahead of it's time, that the West was compelled to label it as the work of Aliens!
But with the same Pride, comes Responsibility. The responsibility of Respecting, Conserving and Preserving our Heritage. Every year we observe
'World Heritage week' aimed to increase awareness among people about their culture and traditions. It is crucial to adapt & innovate according to the changing times, but it's equally paramount
to stay true to your roots and learn from your ancestral knowledge of thousands of years.

Ahmedabad ( or Ahmadabad as Unesco spelled it) was inscribed on the Unesco World Heritage List, the first Indian city to be thus honoured.

The sites are designated as having "outstanding universal value" under the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage. This doucment was adapted by UNESCO in 1972 and formally
took effect in 1975 after having been ratified by 20 countries.
